Microsoft says it’s testing a free PC anti-virus/spyware program

The next sound of wounded market share you hear will be coming from the direction of McAfee and Symantec.
Microsoft says it's testing a free PC anti-virus/spyware program dubbed Morro internally.
A beta should be available soon on its web site.
The company threatened to do this back in November when it announced that it would kill off the failed Live OneCare.
