WebLogic News Desk Industry Veteran Joins BEA To Lead BEA AquaLogic Push
Rob Levy Becomes EVP of New Products

Following the recent announcement of BEA AquaLogic, a new family of products to help address the emerging Service Infrastructure software category, Levy will be responsible for all aspects of the BEA AquaLogic product lines including research and development, product management, support, quality assurance, and strategic planning. "Rob and his team will be instrumental in helping our customers gain competitive advantage by using AquaLogic to compose, configure and re-use technology assets to quickly meet business needs, across both Java and Microsoft .NET platforms," Chuang added. Levy has more than 25 years experience leading all aspects of the computer software and services business and a proven track record of running large organizations with more than 500 employees. In his most recent position at Computer Associates (CA), Levy was senior vice president and chief technology strategist responsible for defining, articulating and driving the execution of CA's global technology strategy and vision. Previously, Levy was senior vice president of development and brand unit executive for CA's AllFusion life cycle management solutions. Prior to CA, Levy served in executive management positions for several start-up ventures and was chairman and CEO of MQ Tech, Inc., a middleware services and consulting company.
