SPSS Cancels 2009 2Q Conference Call Due to Pending Acquisition by IBM

SPSS Inc. (Nasdaq: SPSS), a global provider of Predictive Analytics software and solutions, announced that as a result of the recent announcement of a definitive merger agreement with IBM, it will no longer host its 2009 second quarter conference call previously scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at 4 p.m. CT. The Company expects to release its 2009 second quarter financial results via press release after market hours on August 4, 2009.
