"Now both Fortune 100 companies and small businesses can, in just a few minutes, give their users access to Salesforce on handheld devices," Gross added. “The AppExchange on-demand platform provides us with the capability to tightly integrate Sales Anywhere with Salesforce, giving salesforce.com customers the ability to quickly and easily install and deploy Sales Anywhere with very little administrative set up,” said Brian Vink, vice president of marketing at iAnywhere. “This enables customers to increase field effectiveness and productivity while lowering adoption barriers.” Supporting the AppExchange on-demand platform, Sales Anywhere for salesforce.com’s AppExchange is immediately available for test drive and deployment at www.appexchange.com, says the company, in conjunction with the Salesforce Winter ’06 release. Sales Anywhere improves field sales productivity and effectiveness, the company claims, "by giving sales professionals quick, convenient access to customer and opportunity management information while away from the office." "With AppExchange, salesforce.com customers now have access to new applications that bring the benefits of salesforce.com to an entire business, letting them manage and share all of their company information on-demand," Gross noted. Using AppExchange, he said, companies can easily add any number of new on-demand applications to their existing Salesforce deployments, extending their success "and making the full power and creativity of the salesforce.com customer, partner and developer community available with just a click."
