Hyderabad-based YASU Technologies has announced that its flagship BRMS Platform, QuickRules BRMS, was rated as a “top strong performer” by Forrester in its report, “The Forrester Wave: Business Rules Platforms, Q1 2006”.
Forrester evaluated 10 leading vendors of BRMS products in the market using 174 criteria grouped into 3 major categories – Current Offering, Strategy, and Market Presence. It concluded that YASU Technologies will likely be “the surprise of the analysis”, and it provides a “strong business rules platform” with “very aggressive list prices”. The report goes on to say that “YASU’s low prices and strong feature set are distinctive in this evaluation, and its environment for nonprogrammers is also very good”.
The Forrester report goes on to say that “YASU is a good option for organizations needing to develop rules for either Java/J2EE or .NET from a single tool set. QuickRules will be considerably less expensive in this role than the leading multiplatform option”, and concludes that YASU Technologies is a “tier one Strong Performer in three of our four categories”
Describing YASU Technologies as a “well-kept secret in the business rules market”, it states that “YASU Technologies is Best Suited for Development by Business Analysts” and that “YASU has a substantial installed base at 100 customers”. The report also analyzed YASU Technologies’ market presence and concluded that “YASU has more than 30 partners, which is one of the highest totals in the business rules market”.
Analyzing the QuickRules BRMS platform, the Forrester report recommends that QuickRules is an especially good fit for buyers that need “a platform for cooperative business rules development”. It states that QuickRules BRMS has ”strong security and multiplatform features and good data access features”. The report also elaborates by stating that QuickRules provides “Explicit knowledge capture tools”, “The only formal simulation tools available from this group of vendors”, “Strong rule testing features”, “Strong platform administration features”, and “Strong Application Server support in both Java/J2EE and .NET”
Satish Madhira, CEO of YASU Technologies, says “I wish to thank our customers and partners for their confidence in us. We will continue to consistently deliver world-class technology at reasonable prices to ensure the success of our customers and partners”.
