Host Color, a US shared web hosting provider, announced the integration of support for PHP 4 and PHP 5 scripting in its new NextColor control panel.

Host Color is offering both the versions of PHP through a section in their control panel. The company said that although scripts written in the PHP web programming language should run on both versions 4 and 5, some programs have special requirements for either of them.

"We are a company that listens very carefully to what its customers say. That's why after being approached by numerous customers asking specifically for PHP 4 or PHP 5 hosting, we decided to add this new feature in our control panel,” said Vesselin Drangajov, Executive Director, Host Color. “Together with the improved SSH capability that we have added to our NextColor control panel, we feel that our hosting has some unique features and is a powerful medium for web developers."
