Today one of the hottest new software development techniques leverages open source tools and open source distribution, however there's much more to an open source business model than just sharing code.  The new commercial open source business model includes forthright communication, community, and a sharing of ideas and talents that form a level of trust. The model introduces a dual license approach which allows the organization and the community to gain commercial benefits by participating in an open source project.
