TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2012 /CNW/ - This weekend, 200 emerging leaders will come together to find ways to make it easier to get around the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Under the mantra "Enough Talk, Let's Move!" these civic leaders will test new ideas and build partnerships to activate them. What: ELNstudio is a non-partisan, one-day conference for the region's rising civic leaders featuring presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. Keynote speakers include John Longbottom, Canadian Smarter Cities Strategy Leader at IBM Canada, and Bruce McCuaig, President and Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx. Six transportation themes will be addressed, from public-private partnerships to amplifying the impact of CivicAction's "What would you do with 32?" regional transportation campaign. ELNstudio will conclude a week of CivicAction's 10th Anniversary events, celebrating a decade of driving action for a prosperous region with thriving people and places.
