LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MyLife.com™, the website that enables over 60 million members to connect to and manage all their social and email accounts, monitor their online information and make new connections all in one place, today announced that David Wolfe has joined the company as Chief Product Officer. An early employee of Reunion.com, now MyLife.com, David was the company's president of product and technology, and created a definitive product roadmap that was key to the company's growth during its formative years. David returns to MyLife with more than 20 years of experience in the development of successful products and corresponding marketing strategies, where he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product strategy and development. "We see tremendous opportunity in the market to create a better way for consumers to manage their social connections online, and are very excited that David is coming back to MyLife," said CEO and founder Jeffrey Tinsley. "David's knowledge of our company, coupled with his product development expertise, will be a great asset as we look to continue to grow our business." Prior to returning to MyLife, David spent a year consulting with a number of early stage startups for Matrix Partners and Bain Venture Capital. Before consulting, David was the COO at BuyWithMe, which was sold to Gilt Groupe in November 2011, where he led the marketing, product management, product design, and engineering teams, bringing the company into the number three position in the group buying space. Prior to BuyWithMe, Wolfe was CPO/COO of Interactive One where he was at the forefront of a unique multi-platform play in partnership with Interactive One's parent company, Radio One. Wolfe leveraged his understanding of the social networking space to wrap multiple media channels into a rich social and interactive environment, rejuvenating BlackPlanet.com, with further developing Interactive One's media sites and advertising platform, and with the online release of Radio One's 52 station websites to create a holistic and consistent online presence across Radio One's multimedia operations. Wolfe served as the Chief Technology Officer at Napster before joining InteractiveOne. At Napster, he played a primary role in the acquisition by BestBuy, and spent his tenure at Napster re-organizing the product development and product management functions and delivering multiple winning products to consumers: A lauded next generation web application, a mobile application, and a productized API.
