Grant Thornton
4/26/2007 - Sybase iAnywhere announced that Grant Thornton LLP, one of the largest accounting, tax and business advisory firms in the U.S., has selected Information Anywhere Afaria mobile device management technology to ensure that its policies, procedures, and other technical reference information are current and available to its 3,000 Assurance mobile professionals on their desktop and laptop computers. Information Anywhere suite is a platform that addresses converging enterprise requirements for mobile e-mail, collaboration, security, device management, and application enablement. Sybase iAnywhere device management has enabled Grant Thornton to improve the efficiency of its information distribution - pushing only changes in policies and internal methodologies to its professionals, rather than repeatedly sending an exhaustive re-publish of the entire electronic library every time there was a change or addition to the source documents. Improvements in efficient, reliable distribution mean less bandwidth usage on Grant Thornton's network. Having immediate access to current policies and procedures assists Grant Thornton Assurance professionals in providing quality service to their clients.
