iAnywhere and Intel Fuel Mobilized Application Development

(November 20, 2003) - iAnywhere Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc., and Intel Corporation are working together to further the development of mobilized software for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The companies unveiled a toolkit that will enable software developers to deliver applications for SMB mobile computing and Wi-Fi users. Each kit will include mobile enterprise software, an Intel Centrino mobile technology-based mobile PC, an Intel XScale technology-based handheld, and a wireless LAN access point.

Notebook PC - an HP NX7000 notebook PC based on Intel Centrino mobile technology. Wi-Fi access point - a Cisco Aironet 1200 series 802.11b LAN access point and a Cisco 2.2 dbi dipole antenna to enable live development and testing of the mobile solution in a Wi-Fi environment.
