Compoze Software has announced the availability of the Compoze Portlets 2.5, BEA WebLogic Edition, for BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1.

The new release supports the growing needs of three audiences inside an organization: the developers building the portal with the addition of a model-view-controller architecture; the administrators deploying and maintaining the portal via simplified deployment mechanisms and the creation of a single configurable portlet; and the end users through the addition of an enhanced interface, spell checking, multiple mail account access as well as internationalization support for French, German and Japanese.

In addition to providing fully configurable portlets out of the box for mail, calendar, contacts and tasks, the Compoze Portlets also enable developers to seamlessly add collaboration to any portal application. Together with BEA WebLogic Workshop 8.1, the Compoze Portlets can provide a comprehensive environment for integrating and embedding collaboration into business processes.
