(February 17, 2005, 7:37 AM) - Ajit Sagar, a senior technical archiect with Infosys Technologies, a global consulting and IT services company, talking live with Jeremy Geelan on SYS-CON.TV. Ajit has been working with Java since 1997, and has more than 15 years experience in the IT industry. During this tenure, he has been a programmer, lead architect, director of engineering, and product manager for companies from 15 to 25,000 people in size. Ajit has served as JDJ's J2EE editor, was the founding editor of XML-Journal, and has been a frequent speaker at SYS-CON's Web Services Edge series of conferences in the past five years.

Brent Carlson is vice president of technology and cofounder at LogicLibrary, Inc. Carlson drives the development and delivery of LogicLibrary's products. He is a 17-year veteran of IBM, where he served as lead architect for the WebSphere Business Components project and held numerous leadership roles on the ?IBM SanFrancisco Project. He is the co-author of two books: SanFrancisco Design Patterns: Blueprints for Business Software (with James Carey and Tim Graser) and Framework Process Patterns: Lessons Learned Developing Application Frameworks (with James Carey).

Carlson is also a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including Web Services EDGE 2005. Carlson holds 16 software patents, with eight more currently under evaluation.

How gracious of Boston to make the weather so mild for the time of year, all part of the master plan to help Web services take over the software and online-commerce world ;-)

Amazon are the leaders in this but eBay sure are catching up real fast - it will be interesting to hear what Microsoft says too isn't Brixhorn very big in the "Indigo" project?

###No one has done as much in recent weeks and months for raising the profile of Web services than giants like eBay, Amazon.com, and Google ###

It's the giants like Microsoft, eBay, and Visa too that have just joined forces to launch a program to share information about phishing attacks...hearing that they're all in the vanguard of Web services too is interesting

I'm going to be there that's for sure...
