Building on its November 2007 preview, Oracle previewed additional
planned feature enhancements of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g.
Based on feedback resulting from close cooperation with
customers testing in real-world environments, the latest preview of Oracle Fusion
Middleware 11g includes planned features intended to provide Java developers
with a unified design and development experience based on new open standards
for Java, SOA, AJAX, Web 2.0 and Security and to help reduce the time, effort
and cost of developing Rich Enterprise, Web and mobile applications.
"As SOA, Web 2.0 and Rich Enterprise Applications
continue to evolve in sophistication, Oracle is committed to helping insulate
developers and customers from the complexity and pitfalls that accompany the
vast combination of potential underlying technologies," said Thomas
Kurian, senior vice president, Oracle Server Technologies. "Through its standards-based,
hot-pluggable foundation, the latest preview of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g
further demonstrates this commitment."
Additionally, the preview showcases planned performance and manageability
improvements, as well as tighter integration between various Oracle Fusion
Middleware components.
Enhancements and new capabilities in this preview span the
Oracle Fusion Middleware product family and include:
- Oracle SOA Suite
