Fortisphere Joins VMware Virtualization Program
Expands Relationship with VMware to Provide Customers with Functionality and Performance Benefits beyond Existing Interfaces

Fortisphere announced that it has joined the VMware
Community Source program, a collaborative development initiative designed to
accelerate the creation of a rich variety of products that integrate with
VMware Infrastructure, the industry-leading datacenter virtualization and
management suite.
The VMware Community Source program combines the best
elements of open source and enterprise development, allowing partners to
advance their level of functionality, enhance interoperability with VMware
products and dramatically reduce the time to market virtualization solutions
for their customers.

focused on developing innovative solutions for VMware environments,” said
Michael Harper, president and CEO, Fortisphere. “Our participation in the
program provides us with access to technical resources and support that are
critical for developing solutions that enhance our Virtual Essentials suite for
VMware Infrastructure. As broader adoption of virtualization continues,
Fortisphere will work with VMware and its partner ecosystem to develop and
deliver integrated, interoperable and innovative solutions for our customers.”
