Companies use Bungee Connect to build AJAX web applications with desktop-like interactivity. They can then deploy those applications immediately, either to the Bungee Grid multi-tenant grid infrastructure, or to one or more Bungee Application Servers running in the companies' own infrastructures. "Google Chrome's new V8 JavaScript engine is designed to run these types of AJAX applications as if they were desktop programs," Mitchell said.
