Co-Founder of Vonage Tasked with Connecting People of the World Face-to-Face with High Quality Video Communications

NEW YORK, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- ooVoo, an innovator in the way people communicate with real-time video, today announced the appointment of Louis Holder as chief operating officer (COO). Holder's appointment further strengthens ooVoo's management team as the company looks to aggressively grow and become the preferred choice for face-to-face communications online.

Located in ooVoo's New York headquarters, Holder will report to ooVoo CEO, Philippe Schwartz, and be responsible for product marketing, product management, operations and overall product strategy.

Holder joins ooVoo with more than 15 years of executive experience with leading technology organizations including co-founding Vonage, the largest residential VoIP phone company where he was responsible for managing the technology and operations. In April 2005 Holder accepted the role of president of Novega Venture Partners, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vonage Holdings Corp. where he was responsible for the development of new business and product offerings that included launching Vonage's Mobile division. In addition, Holder has held positions with Cantor Fitzgerald and PaineWebber with responsibility for developing automated trading systems for financial markets. Most recently Holder held the position of chief technology officer with Narrowstep, a company focused on bringing traditional television programming to the online world.

Mr. Holder lives with his wife and two children in Princeton, NJ and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
