WaveMaker Announces Open IDE for Cloud Computing

WaveMaker has announced WaveMaker Cloud Edition. WaveMaker Cloud Edition is an open source, integrated development environment (IDE) for cloud computing. WaveMaker Cloud Edition lets anyone build web applications that deploy to the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
With WaveMaker Cloud Edition, developers use a visual, drag-and-drop studio to create full business applications in a browser without needing to install any software onto the desktop. WaveMaker Cloud Edition is a SaaS-enablement solution for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who use Java. WaveMaker Cloud provides the complete package of features necessary for an online application, including:
- A rich AJAX client based on Dojo
- Multi-tenant studio which can be embedded into an ISV's application, enabling easy self-service for end users
- Scalable Java server architecture based on Spring and Hibernate
- Easy integration of existing Java code, web services, enterprise security, existing databases
