360 Intellectual Equity Creates First Online Database to Enable People to Read the Bible's Ancient Scripture As It Was First Written
FreewareBible.com: Let the Bible Speak for Itself and Read the Word, Word-for-Word, with Unique Online Database and Book 'Genesis Rejuvenated'

PRINCETON, N.J., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- 360 Intellectual Equity, LLC
(360ie), an intellectual property development company funded by AOL, Fleming
Media and Bill Jemas, former Marvel Enterprises President and Publisher, has
unveiled Freeware Bible (http://www.freewarebible.com), the first free online
database that enables people to read the earliest complete manuscript of the
Bible that has survived into modern times -- the Leningrad Codex -- just as it
was first written. The groundbreaking database provides a unique set of
translation tools that can be used to read the Word, word-for-word, along with
detailed historical annotations for understanding the original ideas.
360ie has developed FreewareBible.com and a companion book entitled
"Genesis Rejuvenated," written by 360ie CEO Bill Jemas, in consultation with a
prominent cross-section of Biblical scholars, Hebrew linguists, and noted
historians to help feature both a verbatim and poetic version of the creation
story beginning with the first three chapters of the book of Genesis. With
annual sales at a staggering 25,000,000 books per year, the Bible is not only
the bestselling book of all time, but also America's bestselling book every
year. According to a recent Gallup Poll, 32% of Americans believe that the
Bible is literally true. But less than 1% of Americans have actually read a
verbatim translation of the Word.
"We've been developing this project for over two years and we are very
excited to unveil our hard work and in-depth research to the public through
our online database and companion book," said Bill Jemas, 360ie's CEO. "We all
read what other people say the Bible says, believing that we are getting a
verbatim translation of the Word. But once you read the actual ancient
scripture for yourself, you will gain new insights into what the world's most
significant book really does say and mean."
Ann Marie Bahr, Professor of Religious Studies at South Dakota State
University and author of "Christianity and Indigenous Religions," added, "One
of the most exciting aspects of 'Genesis Rejuvenated' is that it creates a
democratic platform for biblical interpretation. On this platform, all --
scholars, pastors, skeptics, and ordinary people of all kinds -- are welcome
to participate in the challenge of translation and interpretation. Jemas' goal
is to create a 'User's Bible' that will benefit from the contributions of
everyday scholars; perhaps we should think of it as the Wikipedia of biblical
translation."
The FreewareBible.com database is arranged in rows and a column which are
read up and down, not just across. The website provides clear "how to use"
instructions along with Bill Jemas' blog which includes new offerings to the
site and personal anecdotes.
