Telecom Transport Management Inc. Appoints Lynn Refer as CEO

Telecom Transport Management Inc. (TTM), a provider of advanced voice and data transport solutions for wireless carriers, announced that Lynn Refer will take over as CEO of the company. Mark Hamilton, the company’s founder and current CEO, will continue at TTM as Executive Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Refer was most recently President of Metro Network Services at Level 3 Communications, where he was responsible for all network functions of Level 3’s metropolitan area fiber optics facilities. Prior to Level 3 Communications, he was co-founder and CEO of Looking Glass Networks, a provider of high capacity fiber optic telecommunication services in twelve US cities that was sold to Level 3 in 2006. He also worked at MCI WorldCom where he was Senior Vice President of Network Planning, and worked for MFS Communications and Ameritech.

“We are very pleased to have someone of Lynn’s stature and experience joining TTM. We look forward to working with him to continue to grow TTM into the leading provider of tailored transport solutions for wireless operators and other carrier-class customers,” said Mark Hamilton.

“With the growing opportunities for wireless backhaul solutions and TTM’s strong management team, it is a very exciting time to be joining the company,” said Lynn Refer. “I’m looking forward to being a part of a tremendous team of industry pioneers as we work to expand TTM’s business with wireless operators looking for cost-effective and scalable backhaul alternatives.”

Mr. Refer has a Masters of Management from Northwestern and a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University College of Engineering.

About Telecom Transport Management:

Telecom Transport Management offers wireless carriers a comprehensive, best in class solution that is more cost effective, reliable, flexible and manageable than current transport solutions in the industry. The company builds, owns and operates protected, fully managed state of the art backhaul networks for its carrier customers. These are end-to-end, high speed, high capacity hybrid microwave and fiber networks, connecting hundreds of cell sites in each market to the wireless carriers’ switching centers. TTM currently serves several national and regional wireless carriers, helping them meet their increasing bandwidth requirements at a level of performance and price historically unavailable in the wireless market. As those requirements continue to grow at an exponential pace with the introduction and adoption of data-rich 3G and 4G offerings, TTM will be a backhaul carrier of choice for the wireless industry.
