Will use its mainframes, Shared Hosting Services, and virtualization

The kickoff date is September. IBM is going to use its mainframes, its Shared Hosting Services, and virtualization to support the school's accounting, administration and academic data management operations and manage its data center. No number was put on the contract. IBM has also established its first cloud computing lab in Hong Kong. It's supposed to be a global hub that supports IBM's LotusLive cloud service portfolio, its B2B social networking and online collaboration widgetry. IBM now has 10 cloud labs.
